Explore the Vessadas River in an unusual way. Canyoning is a mountain river descent where you will adventure yourself along the riverbed using different tecnhiques and aproaches, such as walking, jumping, sliding and rope maneuveurs. All along the River you will find times to experience jumping, sliding or rappelling in waterfalls into crystalline water lagoons. On this particular River you will have the chance to challenge yourself at your own measure, thanks to its easy acesses and limited and optional difficulty since many of its obstacles can be circumventable. In this River, hidden in the mountains in the North of Portugal, you will be able to see the pristine nature, crystal clear water lagoons and waterfalls that make it so special!

The Adventure Tour
This tour will start in Arouca, where you will meet your Guide. After a brief explanation on how the activity will proceed, you will follow your guide across mountain roads to the River near Manhouce Village, where you will receive every equipment that you will need. On arriving at the river, after a brief but important safety briefing you will adventure yourself on the Waterfalls that make this River so exciting! Along the way you will find times to relax, times to challenge yourself and times to have fun with your tour mates.

Typical Lunch - Arouca Great Gastronomy!
After the Tour, you'll delight yourself with the traditional “Arouquesa Roasted Veal”, in a typical restaurant (included in the option “With Lunch”). For desert, you'll taste some of the ancient Conventual Pastry, next to it's origin, the Arouca's Santa Maria Monastery.
