The itinerary begins with pickup from your hotel in Arequipa at 3:15 a.m. After a three-hour bus ride through southern Peru, we will arrive at the charming town of Chivay, located more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Here, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast that includes bread with butter and jam, juice, coffee or tea.

Once our energies have been recharged, we will go to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, from where you will have an impressive view of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. You can also spot condors, since it is an ideal place for their flight.

After admiring the view, we will continue exploring other towns and viewpoints of the canyon, such as Wayrapunko or Antahuillque. Around 11:30 a.m., we will head to the Chacapi thermal baths, where you will spend an hour relaxing in its natural pools.

After the swim, we will return to Chivay, where you will have free time to have lunch on your own. Then we will meet again and leave for Puno, our final destination.

During the approximately six-hour trip, we will make stops to stretch our legs at the Patapampa viewpoint, from where you can admire the imposing Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes. We will also stop at the Salinas and Lagunillas Reserve, hoping to spot camelids or wild birds.

The excursion will end at the Puno Terminal around 7:30 p.m.
