Overview

  • Escape Amsterdam and discover the windmills, flavors, and traditions of Zaanse Schans with your guide. Meet outside Amsterdam Central Station, take a short train ride, and walk towards a village of wooden houses, green fields, and iconic windmills.

Explore its history and learn how wind power helped shape Dutch industry. Step inside a working windmill to discover its traditional machinery, visit a cheese farm for a tasting, and watch craftspeople transform wood into Dutch clogs during a live demonstration.

Enjoy local cheese, biscuit, and chocolate tastings, all included in your experience. Along the way, your guide will share stories and anecdotes that bring the village to life, with time to admire the scenery and take photos.

After the guided tour, return to Amsterdam with your guide or stay longer to explore independently.
