What you can expect
After an early morning pick-up from your villa, we begin a scenic drive towards the Bali jungle.
We arrive at the Samsara Living Museum, an interactive cultural space unlike traditional museums. You don't just stand back and look at exhibits—you roll up your sleeves and experience the island's culture firsthand.
Depending on the Museum's daily schedule, you might witness the rhythmic “Ngoncang” rice-pounding by local women or learn about ancestral palm leaf manuscript writing. Other activities may include:
• Canang, or making offerings
• Silver jewelry design
• Cooking and Drink classes
• Balinese dance classes, and more
Entrance fee and cost for classes are not included in the Tour price. Please be sure to bring cash.
Sibetan Rice Terrace & The “Snake Snack” Experience
Next, we make our way to the Sibetan Rice Terrace where you may meander the fields while breathing the crisp morning air. Marvel at the lush, tiered paddies carved into the hillsides, all sustained by Bali’s ancient, UNESCO-recognized subak irrigation system. If in season, taste “snake fruit,” locally called salak, uniquely sweet, crunchy and healthy for you.
Meditation & Serenity at Holy Waterfall Bali
We head deeper into the countryside to discover the Holy Waterfall Bali, a pristine hidden gem located in the Selat district. This location is explicitly designed as a peaceful sanctuary for mindfulness and quiet contemplation so bring your yoga mats if you feel so inclined.
Unlike popular “photo-op” waterfalls, Holy Waterfall Bali is explicitly designed as a peaceful sanctuary for mindfulness, spiritual reflection, and quiet contemplation. The area features beautifully manicured grounds complete with a vibrant fish pond, traditional Hindu stone statues, and panoramic views of the surrounding green rice terraces.
Because this is a revered, holy site, we will provide you with a traditional sarong to wear out of courtesy and respect for the local sacred space.
Fine Dining with a View
Conclude your journey with an unforgettable culinary experience at Camaya Terrace Restaurant, just two minutes away, and overlooking the same rice valley. Camaya offers the perfect combination of local Balinese flavors and international comfort food. Cost for food and drinks are not included in the Tour price. Please be sure to bring cash or credit card for lunch.
This tour is perfect for anyone interested in culture, meditation, and beautiful fields seldom seen by the tourist crowds. families whose kids are old enough to appreciate participating in Balinese activities, and friend groups who want to make unforgettable memories, will love this tour.
We listened to what you asked for in a true Balinese experience and wrapped it in a bow. From pick up by your Balinese driver from Amed, a quiet walk through the rice terraces, moments of peaceful contemplation, followed by a hearty lunch. The entire experience is packed with fun, and exceptional value for your money — 100% worth every penny!
