Relax and enjoy our comfortable car ride from convenient meeting points in Alicante and Benidorm. Be driven for about 60 minutes, during which you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views and lush landscapes.
Stop at Guadalest Castle where you can purchase a ticket. Step back in time on a walking tour with your driver, offering both a historical journey and some of the most spectacular scenery in Spain.
Perched high on a rocky crag Guadalest Castle is a breathtaking medieval fortress offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and turquoise reservoir below. Originally built by the Moors in the 11th century, this historic site has played a strategic defensive role throughout the centuries.
As you explore, you’ll enter through the Portal de San José, a tunnel carved into the rock that leads into the charming old town of Guadalest. Inside the castle complex, you can visit the ruins of the Castle of San José, which was heavily damaged in earthquakes and battles yet still retains its historical charm. The Bell Tower, dramatically perched on a cliff, is an iconic symbol of Guadalest.
Visitors can also purchase a ticket to the Orduña House, an 18th-century noble residence filled with period furnishings and artifacts. The town itself is filled with quaint cobblestone streets, numerous museums (Museum of Microminiatures, the Museum of Microgiants, the Museum of Salt and Pepper Shaker, the Ethnological Museum), and artisan shops offering local crafts, souvenirs, and delicacies.
During your walk, you will be always accompanied by your driver.
