Discover an authentic and surprising side of Sardinia, away from the most popular tourist routes. Enjoy a day among villages rich in history, murals, spectacular views, nature, a cave in the rock and the beautiful landscape of the lake.
Starting from Alghero, we'll pass through some of the most fascinating and lesser-known places in northern Sardinia, alternating between views, small villages and moments of genuine relaxation.
After a short scenic drive, we will reach a spectacular lookout point from which to admire mountains, the sea, valleys and unspoiled natural vistas.
We will then continue to a small village famous for its murals, true works of art in the open air that depict Sardinia's culture, everyday life and roots. Strolling through its streets, we will discover stories and interesting facts related to this extraordinary form of artistic expression.
During the experience, we will take a break in nature with a genuine outdoor lunch, to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace in a relaxed atmosphere. Nearby, we will also have access to a fountain of very fresh, drinkable spring water, used by the local population.
For every two people, lunch will consist of a generous platter with two types of bread, pecorino cream, aged pecorino, Sardinian sausage and olives, accompanied by Cannonau red wine. An authentic lunch featuring some of Sardinia's most distinctive flavors, designed to be savored slowly throughout our day.
After lunch, we'll head to another authentic village perched above the valley, famous for its incredible views of the lake and the surrounding area. Here, we will follow a short but stunning nature trail through Mediterranean vegetation, past viewpoints and a cave carved into the rock, in a landscape that is still pure and untamed.
The trip will end with one last breathtaking panorama of the open sea before returning to Alghero.
An experience that combines authentic villages, art, nature, views and Sardinian flavors: a day to be savored slowly to discover an authentic Sardinia far from the most popular routes.
