Start the tour after being picked up from the Albufeira area. First historical visit is the Cape Saint Vincent also known as the End of the World before the discovery of the new world. This is the most south western tip of our mainland Europe where you can enjoy amazing views of the beautiful cliffs where land meets the Atlantic ocean. Next visit is the historical city Lagos, from where the Portuguese age of discovery began under the command of prince Henry the navigator. Here you have various options like lunch, visiting museums or just exploring its old town and admiring the historical sites. In the afternoon we continue our journey toward the Monchique region, this by roads where the big buses can’t go and therefore possible to enjoy amazing views over the Algarve’s countryside and learn about the interior culture. During the drive there will be several photo stops, so you can enjoy the best of it. We will visit the old Moorish capital of Silves, with its amazing castle and well preserved cathedral and learn about its history. From Silves we make our way back to the hotel.
