Home to over 100 free-roaming foxes, this magical forest welcomes you into a true “Fox Kingdom.” You’ll encounter six different fox species, including Hokkaido red foxes, dreamy silver foxes, arctic foxes (blue and white), elegant platinum foxes, and rare cross foxes—each with its own unique personality.
Set in a pristine woodland, foxes may quietly follow you along the paths, curiously tug at your clothes, or observe you from nearby. With a bit of luck, you may even have the chance to gently hold a fluffy fox cub.
In addition to foxes, the park is also home to gentle rabbits, goats, and miniature ponies—perfect for families and animal lovers.

Shiroishi Umen is a beloved local specialty with over 400 years of history. These handmade wheat noodles are short, oil-free, light, and easy to digest—perfect for all ages.
According to legend, the noodles were created in the early Edo period by a devoted son who wanted his ill father to enjoy a gentle, nourishing meal. A bowl of Umen is not only comforting to the stomach, but also to the heart.

This 500-year-old hot spring town is famous for its nostalgic wooden ryokan lining the Ginzan River. Often said to resemble the bathhouse from Spirited Away, Ginzan Onsen feels like stepping into a fairytale.
Gas lamps glow at dusk, snow blankets the streets in winter, and each season offers breathtaking scenery—from lush summer greenery to fiery autumn leaves. The area is also believed by fans to have inspired the Swordsmith Village in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll, try local Yamagata specialties such as tempura soba, visit free foot baths (Waraku Ashiyu), or explore charming souvenir shops and street food stalls.
