Your adventure will start right at our Taikuri Farm in Bakvattnet. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will hike on snowshoes through deep, snow-covered forests and open fjäll terrain. Along the way, you will encounter fantastic viewpoints offering sweeping panoramic vistas. Keep your eyes peeled – with a bit of luck, you might spot wildlife or their fresh tracks in the snow.
Along the way, there will be time to pause: By a crackling campfire, you can warm up with a hot drink, enjoy light snacks, and hear fascinating stories about nature and life in the Far North.
This snowshoe tour is perfect for beginners – you don’t need any prior experience. A normal level of physical fitness is sufficient. The route is approximately 3.7 miles long and takes 2.5–3 hours, depending on snow conditions.
