Located in Jardim, Mato Grosso do Sul, 50 km from Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, Lagoa Misteriosa is one of the most fascinating attractions in the region. It was previously privately owned until it was acquired by the Rio da Prata Group, which is responsible for the Recanto Ecológico Rio da Prata and Estância Mimosa.

Lagoa Misteriosa got its name from the mystery surrounding its depth, which remains unknown to this day. Several divers have ventured on expeditions to try to reach the bottom, but the maximum depth recorded so far has been 220 meters.

One of the most popular activities at the site is floating in the Misteriosa Lagoon. The tour begins with a hike of about 15 minutes, providing the perfect opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. From the observation deck, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Lagoon. Then, a comfortable and safe staircase leads to the point where the floating takes place.

The crystal clear waters of the Mysterious Lagoon provide a unique experience, with many describing the sensation of floating as if they were flying.

Due to weather conditions, floating activities are suspended between mid-September and mid-April due to the proliferation of microalgae.
