Make the most of your time in Florence with this private 1-hour electric golf cart tour through the scenic hills. Florence Express combines a panoramic ride, photo opportunities and an audio guide in a compact experience that fits easily into your day.
Your experience begins from your selected meeting point: Piazzale Vittorio Veneto, a lively square along the Arno River and one of the main gateways to Florence, or Piazza Torquato Tasso, a charming local square close to the Oltrarno area. From here, your driver will take you on a comfortable ride through elegant boulevards, riverside roads, green areas, and scenic hills that offer incredible views over the city.
As you glide quietly through Florence in your electric golf cart, you will explore charming neighborhoods, historic villas, peaceful streets, and panoramic spots that many visitors never get the chance to see. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular viewpoints overlooking Florence’s famous skyline, including the iconic Florence Cathedral, the historic rooftops, and the Arno River.
One of the highlights of the tour is the scenic route toward the Piazzale Michelangelo area, one of the most famous panoramic viewpoints in Italy. Due to local access regulations affecting the UNESCO historic area, golf carts cannot drive directly into some restricted areas, including Piazzale Michelangelo.
For this reason, the golf cart stops nearby, in the Piazzale Michelangelo area, for example at the Piccolo Belvedere, a beautiful and peaceful panoramic spot offering a wonderful view over Florence. From there, guests continue on foot for a short scenic walk, approximately 100 meters, to reach Piazzale Michelangelo and admire one of the most iconic views of the city, with its Renaissance domes, medieval towers, and the Arno River winding through Florence.
Your golf cart is equipped with an audio guide, allowing you to discover fascinating stories, legends, and historical facts about Florence while enjoying the ride.
Because this is a private tour, the itinerary can be adapted to your interests while respecting local access regulations, traffic, and safety conditions. Your driver will be happy to stop for photos, suggest scenic viewpoints, or take you through some of Florence’s most beautiful and peaceful areas.
For an even more magical experience, consider booking a late afternoon tour and enjoy the warm light of sunset over the Florentine hills. You can also add an optional aperitif with a view, making your experience even more memorable.
At the end of the tour, you will return comfortably to your selected meeting point, having discovered Florence from a panoramic, relaxed, and truly unforgettable perspective.
