During this two-hour hands-on cooking class, you’ll prepare three traditional favourites with guidance from our friendly local instructors: • Bifana — Portugal’s iconic pork sandwich • Caldo verde — a comforting traditional green collards soup • Peixinhos da horta — crispy green bean fritters often linked to the origins of tempura Begin with a short introduction to the dishes and their place in Portuguese culture. Then roll up your sleeves and cook alongside the other participants, learning techniques and recipes that are simple enough to recreate at home. Once the cooking is complete, sit down together and enjoy everything you have prepared as a full meal, accompanied by Portuguese wine and a tasting of ginja, Lisbon’s traditional sour cherry liqueur.
