Summer and Autumn Magic: Private Hiking Adventure in Riisitunturi National Park

Your local guide will lead you through enchanting old-growth spruce forests, across soft moss-covered trails, and up to open fell tops with panoramic views over lakes, forests, wetlands, and distant hills. This peaceful hike is all about slowing down, enjoying nature, and experiencing the unique atmosphere of Lapland.

In summer, Riisitunturi comes alive with fresh greenery, wildflowers, and endless Arctic light. Until the end of July, you can also choose an unforgettable evening hike beneath the Midnight Sun, when the sun never truly sets and the landscape glows in warm golden light.

From early September, the park transforms into a colourful autumn wonderland. The famous Finnish ruska paints the fells and forests in brilliant shades of yellow, orange, and deep red, creating one of the most beautiful hiking seasons of the year.

During the hike, we'll stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and enjoy a relaxing campfire break with a warm drink and local snack whenever conditions allow. Your guide will also share stories about nature, wildlife, Sámi culture, and life in the Arctic.
