In a compact area, where every corner tells of centuries of history, you can enjoy the authentic flavors of Ferrara with typical dishes, desserts and local wines.

It starts with an unusual breakfast of amberjack and cappuccino in a historic shop in the city.

This is followed by a tasting of local cold cuts accompanied by the typical twisted bread, the “coppia”, and two first courses that are symbolic of Ferrara cuisine: pumpkin cappellacci with butter and sage or meat ragu, and macaroni pie, a pasta center with a white mushroom and truffle ragu, enclosed in a sweet puff pastry shell. All this will be accompanied by a fragrant glass of local wine, the renowned “vini delle sabbie” from Bosco Eliceo.

The food and wine expert will take you on a pleasant stroll through the ancient streets of the city center and the historical shops, revealing interesting facts about Ferrara's cuisine and the traditions that have shaped the city.

The experience will end in the heart of the Addizione Erculea, where you can enjoy a duo of typical desserts — the chocolate tenderina and the Pampapato IGP, a Christmas dessert — accompanied by a final surprise liqueur, also produced in Ferrara.
