The experience lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, including pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation in Tarifa.
We pick you up at any point in Tarifa with our vehicles and after a 10-minute drive, we arrive at the Mirador del Estrecho, where you can enjoy amazing views of Africa and the Straits of Gibraltar.
After that, we'll enter the Alcornocales Natural Park and head to our rural accommodation complex called Villas La Ahumada, which is the starting point of the route.
There we'll give you the bike, helmet and water, and we'll show you how easy it is to ride our electric bike-motorcycles.
The bikes are suitable for everyone. They are one size and can be ridden by people between 1.55 m and 1.90 m tall and weighing less than 110 kg. Children who meet these physical requirements may also ride them with the express consent of their parents or guardians.
The bikes are very comfortable and easy to ride. They have a design similar to a small motorcycle and an electric throttle, which is why we call them “electric mopeds”.
No previous experience is required, nor any special physical fitness; you just need to know how to ride a bike. The electric mechanism of the bikes is activated by pedaling or even without pedaling by using the electric throttle, so there is practically no physical exertion. You're here just to enjoy yourself.
Once you're used to riding our electric bike-motorcycles, we start the ROUTE: Our tour guides will lead you along the route, where we'll make several stops and explain the flora and fauna of the Natural Park. It is common to see native animals. Of course, there will be several stops to take photos and create unforgettable memories.
After 45 minutes on the route, you'll arrive at the Pozas de Carrizales, a magical place with extraordinary vegetation where you can enjoy 30 minutes of relaxation and even, if you like, take a swim in the pools.
From there, we begin the approximately 40-minute drop-off journey to our final destination at the Villas La Ahumada rural complex.
There we return the bikes and helmets, and our transportation service will take you back to your accommodation.
The ROUTE lasts 3 hours in total, including pickup and drop-off.
There are two daily departures:
- One with pick-up at 10:30-11:00 AM in Tarifa and drop-off between 1:30-2:00 PM
- Another in the afternoon with pick-up in Tarifa between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM and drop-off between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM. (In the winter season, the departure time of the afternoon route will be brought forward to make the best use of the daylight hours).
Groups may have a maximum of nine participants. For larger groups, please inquire.
