What you can expect

  • After a welcome drink, get to work and prepare three local specialties. Start with Favara’s Agnello Pasquale, the town’s iconic dessert made with almond paste and a pistachio filling. Learn how to make the dough, shape it into the characteristic lamb form, and have fun decorating it according to tradition.

    Next, make almond and pistachio “ricci”—small pastries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, made with just a few simple ingredients. You’ll also discover the traditional funnel with a “curly” tip used to create their distinctive shape.

    At the end of the cooking class, enjoy the sweets you’ve prepared, accompanied by homemade almond milk and fresh fruit.

    Take home not only the recipes, but also the secrets of a tradition passed down through generations.
