Day 1: From Tunis/Sousse/Hammamet – Kairouan & Tozeur
Pick-up from your accommodation and start of your adventure.
Travel to Kairouan, the holy city, where you will explore the Great Mosque of Kairouan, one of the most important Islamic sites in North Africa, known for its stunning architecture and rich history.

Continue towards Tozeur, passing through Gafsa (lunch en route). Upon arrival, check in at a 4-star hotel.
In the afternoon, explore Tozeur’s old Medina, with its traditional architecture and charming streets. Free time to relax or enjoy the surroundings.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Mountain Oases, Star Wars Scenery & Desert Camp
After breakfast, depart in 4x4 vehicles towards Chebika, the suspended oasis. Explore the old Berber village with a local guide, hike in the mountains, and admire the waterfall.

Continue along the old Rallye Dakar track and Chott El Gharsa, then cross vast sand dunes to visit Mos Espa, the largest Star Wars set in Tunisia.
Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, drive to Douz, crossing Chott El Djerid, North Africa’s largest salt lake. Upon arrival, settle into your desert camp under tents.

Enjoy free time to admire the sunset over the dunes, with the option for a camel ride. Participate in the traditional preparation of sand bread, baked under sand and embers—a method historically used by desert inhabitants to cook bread using only the heat of embers buried in the sand.
Dinner and a Bedouin musical evening around the campfire. Overnight in tents under the starry sky, where the Milky Way seems within reach.

Day 3: Between Berbers and Romans
After breakfast, depart for Matmata. Visit a local family in their troglodyte home, where you will be welcomed with traditional tea and olive oil.
Explore the iconic Sidi Idriss Hotel, a famous Star Wars filming location.

Lunch included.
Departure towards El Jem via the highway. Visit the Roman Amphitheatre, one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in Africa, and learn about its fascinating history.
