What you can expect

Experience the world’s only rotating boat lift, The Falkirk Wheel, on a 50-minute boat trip. Depart from the Falkirk Wheel basin and enter The Wheel’s lower gondola. Once cleared for rotation, sail through the sky to join the Union Canal 35 meters above your starting position in just 5 minutes.

After your first boat trip in the air, smoothly sail along the aqueduct, through the Roughcastle Tunnel with its award-winning lighting installation, to the mouth of the Union Canal. Then, do a full 180-degree turn and complete the entire trip in reverse.
