What you can expect

  • We are German and start here in a small group of no more than 6 people with a beach hike right on the Atlantic Ocean. We'll show you the most beautiful spots in our adopted homeland. Of course, we also speak English and are just as happy to welcome international guests!
    Have you ever seen a heart in a rock?
    A visit to the wonderful little chapel on the cliff of Anse Grand Macabou is also a real experience.
    A wonderful place with great energy. Duration of the hike: approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
    Depending on the surf, you can also choose to jump into the cool water here.

    The fruits that we bought on the way there directly from a local's stand can be enjoyed here wonderfully with a view over the sea.

    Depending on whether you wanted to extend the tour with a dip in the cool water beforehand or were already looking forward to the rest of the tour, we can continue directly to the market square of Le François. Here, we'll make a short cultural stop and then continue on to the wonderful “Le Clément” distillery in Le François.
    Upon arrival at the distillery, the first thing you can enjoy is the sensationally landscaped “Jardin Remarquable” garden with its artistic sculptures. Then you'll head up to the manor house via the former production facilities.
    An absolute must on the island and a great attraction for visitors.
    The rum tasting then naturally takes place in the appropriate setting.
    We should definitely allow 2 hours for this.

    On the way back to your destination, you can relive the impressions from this tour.
    All in all, the tour will take about 6.5 hours. Depending on the pick-up location and traffic, it may be 30 minutes longer. Please take this into account.
