Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Nazca at the indicated time. From there, we will head south until we reach the pampa of Poroma. We are going to cross the desert!
For two hours, we will enter the Poroma area to see the most amazing places of the immense Nazca desert, such as the Huaricangana hill or the hills of San Fernando. After this fun tour, we will arrive at San Fernando Bay, refuge of sea lions, penguins, otters and even the condor.
Continuing with the tour we arrive at the control booths where the park rangers will give us a warm welcome. In addition, there we will find an interpretation center where you can see some animal skeletons, you will not stop learning!
Once there, we will approach a viewpoint to contemplate one of the best panoramic views of the bay. Did you know that in this reserve there are more than 350 protected species? If we are lucky, we will admire the condor flying over the bay of San Fernando, being this the last coastal habitat where this bird can still be found.
Then, we will descend to the beach and you will have an hour of free time to explore the area and to enjoy a delicious meal in a restaurant. We recommend you to try the fish!
Finally, we will return to the 4x4 vehicles to cross the Nazca desert again until we reach the slopes of the Huaricangana mountain. We will get off the vehicles and practice sandboarding, a very exciting activity in which you will slide down the dunes on the boards and experience a great adrenaline rush.
After sandboarding, we will travel to your hotel in Nazca, where we will arrive after a six-hour excursion.
