To the east of Gouzon, discover several remarkable sites in the Creuse. The first of these is the Étang des Landes, the largest natural lake in Limousin. Classified as a National Nature Reserve, we will walk along its banks and visit a few observatories to catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna that inhabit it, including its many species of birds.

We will continue our journey to Chambon-sur-Voueize, a magnificent village with one of the largest Romanesque religious buildings in Limousin: the Abbey Church of Sainte-Valérie. A few kilometers further on, Évaux-les-Bains also has a glorious historical past, with thermal baths that have been renowned since ancient times.

These two thousand-year-old towns also each have a lush natural site on their doorstep: the Voueize Gorges for the former and the Chat-Cros Gorges for the latter… A real invitation to adventure!

Leaving Evaux to the north, we head for a site similar to Crozant: the confluence of the Tardes and Cher rivers, overlooked by a rocky outcrop surrounded by a dam lake. In addition to its unmissable views, it is home to a magnificent suspension bridge connecting the two banks of the lake on foot.

Before arriving there, we will stop at some old gold mines and a viewpoint overlooking a large railway viaduct, both remnants of the region's industrial heritage. The guide will board your vehicle to guide you along the bucolic roads of eastern Creuse. We will stop for lunch together, whether you prefer a picnic or a meal in a restaurant.
