The tour begins with the pick-up of passengers from their hotels in the center of El Calafate, to travel to the starting point of the excursion. The first stop is at Puerto Punta Bandera, where we will board a modern vessel that will take us to the Estancia area to begin the journey.

After disembarking, specially equipped 4x4 vehicles will be waiting for us to embark on a 9.5 km expedition through Cordón Feruglio, along a mountainous path that was recently covered by glaciers. Throughout the journey, we will enjoy breathtaking landscapes of geological wonders until we reach the refuge of Hielos Continentales.

From there, we will embark on an approximately 20-minute hike to reach the Upsala Viewpoint, located at 550 meters above sea level. From this vantage point, we will be able to appreciate Lake Guillermo and the majestic Eastern front of the Upsala Glacier, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, as well as the Murallón and Don Bosco hills.

After taking in the awe-inspiring views from the viewpoint, we will embark on another trek to descend to the Fossil Canyon, an area where a significant concentration of fossils can be observed. These fossils are remnants of the last marine ingressions that have been uncovered by glacial action.

Finally, we will travel a final stretch to reach the Valley of Estancia Cristina, from where we will begin the return journey towards the vessel that will take us back to Puerto Punta Bandera, and from there, to the passengers' hotels, concluding the tour.
