What you can expect

  • Discover the Best of Manzanillo in This Unforgettable Adventure!

    Epic Manzanillo

Join our family-friendly boat tour for a fun morning out on the Caribbean. We head out to spot wild dolphins, snorkel colorful coral reefs, and take in the beauty of remote Playa Punta Mona. Led by licensed local guides who know these waters by heart, it's an easy, respectful way to experience Costa Rica’s incredible sea life and wild coast up close.

Part 1: Dolphin Watching on the Caribbean Coast

We head out right from the Manzanillo boat launch onto warm, clear waters to search for wild dolphins. This coastline boasts a 90% sighting rate, making it one of the premier spots in the country to encounter two special species:

    Playful bottlenose dolphins

Rare Tucuxi dolphins, which are seldom seen anywhere else along the coast

Our guides always follow safe, ethical wildlife practices so we can enjoy watching them naturally without crowding or stressing them.

Part 2: Snorkel Punta Mona (Reef & Beach)

Next, we head toward Punta Mona for a relaxed, flexible snorkeling adventure. The area is welcoming whether you are trying snorkeling for the first time or swim all the time. Beneath the surface, look out for:

Bright, colorful tropical fish darting around the coral

The occasional sea turtle or stingray gliding across the sand

Living coral formations and sea fans

We also stop by the quiet shores of Playa Punta Mona, a pristine beach that stays peaceful and uncrowded because reaching it overland is quite difficult. When currents and visibility allow, you can grab your mask and snorkel straight off the beach into shallow waters to explore at your own pace. You can also take breaks on the sand or boat, recharge under the palms, and enjoy sweet, fresh fruit between swims.
