Day 1: Ella Exploration
Your adventure begins early in the morning as we pick you up from your accommodation in Ella or nearby areas. Our first destination is the renowned Ella Rock. As the sun rises, we embark on a hike to the top, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The hike is a fantastic opportunity to experience Ella's stunning landscapes at dawn.
After descending from Ella Rock, we will take a break for lunch. Please note that lunch is not included in the package, but we can recommend local eateries that offer delicious Sri Lankan cuisine.
Next, we head to Little Adam's Peak, another popular hiking spot. The relatively easy climb offers equally stunning views and is a perfect follow-up to the morning's adventure. Afterward, we visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, an architectural marvel nestled amidst lush greenery. This bridge, often visited by the local train, provides an excellent photo opportunity.
For thrill-seekers, our next stop is the Flying Ravana Adventure Park, where you can partake in zip-lining and other exhilarating activities. We then proceed to Demodara Railway Station, known for its unique spiral railway track. If time permits and upon guests' request, we will visit a local meditation center and a tea factory to learn about Ceylon tea production.
We conclude the first day by dropping you off at your hotel or accommodation in Ella, ensuring you have a restful night before the next day's adventures.
Day 2: Haputale and Beyond
On the second day, we start early with a visit to Haputale, a town known for its stunning viewpoints and colonial-era architecture. Our first stop is the Adisham Bungalow, a charming English country house surrounded by beautiful gardens. After exploring the bungalow, we proceed to Lipton's Seat, named after the famous tea planter Sir Thomas Lipton. The viewpoint offers a magnificent panorama of the tea plantations and beyond.
We then explore Haputale further, taking in more beautiful viewpoints before traveling to Diyaluma Falls, Sri Lanka's second-highest waterfall. For those interested in a bit of adventure, we offer a hike to the upper Diyaluma, where you can enjoy natural pools and breathtaking views.
After spending time at Diyaluma, we make our way back to Ella, stopping at Ravana Falls and the Blue Pond along the way. These natural wonders are perfect for a quick dip and some relaxation amidst nature.
We conclude the tour by safely dropping you off at your hotel or any preferred location in Ella, bringing your two-day adventure to a delightful end.
