Explore Oslo like a local on this electric bike tour of the major sights. For winter tours, see below.* Depart from the Viking Biking headquarters, an easy 10-minute walk from Oslo's central station, and cycle on comfortable bikes to the pedestrianized City Hall Square, the site of the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. Enjoy an easy ride to Christianias Torv and hear about the influence of King Christian IV and how Oslo changed after the great fire of 1624. Continue to the Medieval and Renaissance castle of Akershus Festning, and climb off your bike for a brief walk along the ramparts. Then, ride down Karl Johans Gate, the most famous boulevard in Norway, visiting the Parliament, National Theater, University, and Royal Palace. After a charming downhill ride through the Royal Palace gardens, cycle through the beautiful neoclassical neighborhood of Frogner, making your way to the world-famous Frogner Sculpture Park. End with a long downhill ride to Oslo Fjord to visit a hidden jewel of a building built over the fjord. A final ride through the pedestrian shopping district of Aker Brygge brings you back to the Viking Biking store and the end of your tour.

If you have members of your group that do not wish to use an electric bike, they just need to book through our Oslo: 3-Hour Highlights Bike Tour for the same date and time and you will be on the bike tour together!
As per our policy, electric bikes can only be booked by people 16 years or older and you must wear a helmet.

Sites visited can change based on weather and seasonal activities such as Christmas markets, and are chosen by our guides based on being safely accessible.
