We set sail from Bahía Túnel, just 18 km (11 miles) from El Chaltén and 220 km (137 miles) from El Calafate, to begin an experience that combines boating, trekking, and glacier viewing.
Once on board, the boat will take us south along the coast, where we will be able to admire the imposing Huemul Massif. After approximately 40 minutes, we will arrive at Cabo de Hornos Bay, the starting point for an easy trek to a panoramic viewpoint on the peninsula, from which the spectacular Tempanos Bay unfolds before us.
The adventure continues with a close-up view of the front of the Viedma Glacier, an unforgettable experience that allows us to feel the magnitude and power of this ice giant. Finally, we return to the port, our hearts filled with images and emotions that only Patagonia can offer.
