What mood are you in? Behind this question lies an ancient philosophy, that of Hippocrates and Galen, according to which human beings are microcosms within a macrocosm, and are therefore influenced by it. In fact, there are four humors (which Galen turned into temperaments) that govern states of well-being (eucrasia) when they are in balance, and of illness (dyscrasia) when one prevails over the others. You will be transported to an ancient culture, to the dawn of medicine, with its father, Hippocrates, his successor and follower Galen, and then on to the modern blending and application of this ancient but still very present theory.
During the course, we will focus on the physical and psychological characteristics of these temperaments, also analyzing the course participants in order to evaluate, in the event of proven dyscrasia, a drink that will rebalance the excess according to the principle of Contraria Contrariis Curantur. This principle states that opposites are treated with opposites, using simple (medicinal herbs) that will counteract the specific excess. At the end of the course, which will take place in Eboli at Via Umberto Nobile n.62B-64, a certificate of participation will be issued.
