- Località Ripalte, 57031 Capoliveri LI, Italia | Once you arrive in Portoferraio and disembark from the ferry, you will need to follow the signs for Capoliveri. Once you reach the top of the town, at the roundabout in front of the Comando dei Vigili Urbani, you should not follow the Innamorata, but continue in the direction of Miniera Calamita / Tenuta delle Ripalte / Ripe Alte (as indicated). Don't worry if the road becomes a dirt track: this is where one of the most scenic roads in Italy begins, which will take you, in about 6 km, to the Tenuta delle Ripalte, where you will find asphalt again. Elba MTB Capoliveri, the meeting point, is about 200 meters further on the right. Tip: Do not use a navigator as it may mislead you, as there are dirt roads.

You will be able to see many of the beaches of the Costa dei Gabbiani: Stagnone, Istia, and Calanova are the most famous. There will also be a visit to the only equestrian center on Elba, located in the beautiful Tenuta delle Ripalte.
