Our novice tour travels ~6 miles through Kualoa and Kaaawa valleys, making 4-5 stops along the journey, providing great photo ops and beautiful views. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour.

This tour will provide our guests with an enhanced and more immersive experience for those that are the mountain bike enthusiast, allowing them to explore even more of the beautiful scenery and attractions we have to offer. The tour will stretch for 15 miles of trails, jungle, and ridges more technical bike riding is necessary for this tour. With this new tour it comes with the understanding that guest(s) that book this tour are very comfortable on a bike and are easily able to maneuver a bike in difficult/bumpy terrain.This is a rigorous course, and if you are unsure of your ability or those in your party, please select the novice tour.

  • Height Restriction: Min Height – 4’ 9” feet (1.45 meters), Max Height 6’ 5” (2 meters)
  • Weight Restriction: Min 85 pounds (38 kg), Max 250 lbs (114 kg)
  • One rider per bike. Helmets are provided
  • For your safety and well-being of others, all riders must know how to ride a bike to participate in our bike tours
  • 2-hour tour time includes training and safety briefing
  • If you are unable to demonstrate ability to safely ride, you will be asked to ride in an alternate vehicle or stay back and wait until tour is finished
  • Guests with back problems or other health concerns and expecting mothers are not advised to participate in this tour.
  • Children 17 & under must be accompanied by an adult on all tours

Our Mountain e-Bike tour is an eco-friendly way to explore Kualoa, offering a more “down-to-earth” and sustainable experience. With the specialized Yamaha engines that assist you while going up-hill (if you want the help), you will have a unique experience that allows you to get close to nature and explore the sights, sounds and smells of the Hawaiian forests. Please note that these are not just mopeds, so you will still need to pedal your bike. You will be able to experience the “power-on-demand” feature of our eBikes as they seamlessly respond to and complement your efforts, adjusting your pedaling speed and power on the fly. This 2-hour guided tour is good for all ages, but you do need to know how to ride a bike! We have both novice and experienced tour options available.
