What you can expect

  • Mount Qingcheng, located on the outskirts of Chengdu, is one of the birthplaces of Taoism and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, lush forests, and profound Taoist heritage, and is often praised as “the most secluded mountain under heaven.”

This ticket grants access to Qingcheng Front Mountain, the cultural and historical core of the scenic area. Compared with the more nature-oriented back mountain, the front mountain is best known for its well-preserved Taoist temples, ancient stone stairways, traditional pavilions, and classic sightseeing routes, making it an ideal choice for first-time visitors.

Strolling along shaded mountain paths surrounded by dense greenery, you will visit important Taoist landmarks such as Jianfu Palace, Shangqing Palace, and Tianshi Cave, while enjoying panoramic views of mist-covered peaks and tranquil valleys. The route combines gentle hiking with cultural exploration, offering a harmonious balance between natural scenery and spiritual heritage.

The visit typically takes around 4 hours, allowing you to explore at a comfortable pace and fully experience the serene and timeless charm of Qingcheng Front Mountain.
