Leaving Tozeur at 9:00 a.m., you'll head south through the spectacular scenery of Chott El Jerid, Tunisia's largest salt lake. On the way, a photo stop in Debebcha will let you admire the immensity of the desert and the natural mirages that make the region famous.
The day continues with the discovery of a hot spring, an unusual place where water gushes out in the middle of the desert.
Upon arrival in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, you'll enjoy some free time at the souk to stroll around, discover local crafts, and soak up the authentic atmosphere of the city. A friendly break with mint tea will complete this immersion.
Then, head to the Sabria camp for lunch in a unique Saharan setting. Optional activities are available on site, such as a camel ride or a quad bike ride in the dunes.
