  • Tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide or in case of unplanned religious functions (in these cases it can be postponed to the day after otherwise it will be refunded)
  • You can also book a private option for a more exclusive tour (up to 8 persons). The meeting point for the private tour is at Venice Tours Assistance Point in St. Mark's Square, Calle Larga Ascensione #1257.The Assistance Point is the big grey newsstand between Fendi boutique and Poste Italiane.
  • On Sundays, feast days and in case of unplanned religious celebrations the tour foresees the visit with direct access to the Terrace and to St. Mark's Museum situated on the first floor.
  • Due to security reasons, luggage and big bags are not allowed inside the Basilica

Cross the Bridge of Sighs and follow in the footsteps of those less fortunate souls who once called the Palace of Prisons their home. You’ll visit the dark cells from where only Casanova managed to escape.

Next, make your way toward the five-golden domes of the magnificent St. Mark’s Basilica, which has held court over its namesake plaza since the 11th century. Marvel at the golden mosaics and marble floors as your guide explains the meaning behind the biblical scenes depicted all over this Gothic Byzantine cathedral. Enjoy the view from the Terrace and discover the fascinating San Marco Museum.

In the end, you can visit by yourself the Museums around St.Mark's Square as Museo Correr, Biblioteca Marciana, and the National Archeological Museum
