This scuba diving introduction is designed for those who have never dived and want to experience the activity in a safe, controlled manner, accompanied by certified professionals. The experience begins with an introductory session on land, where the instructor explains how the gear works, safety procedures, pressure equalization, and underwater communication signals.
Entry into the water is gradual, in a protected area with excellent visibility. Throughout the dive, the instructor maintains direct contact with you, controlling the depth, monitoring your comfort, and ensuring that the experience goes smoothly. The underwater route allows you to observe volcanic rock formations, small schools of fish, and species typical of the coast of Terceira.
It is the ideal way to experience diving before moving on to more comprehensive training, such as the Open Water Diver course.
