We will pick you up at the hotel or in the center of Sorrento, and in ten minutes you will leave the traffic of Sorrento for the hills where our family has been growing lemons and olives for seven generations. Christian will welcome you and will act as your guide, like a host. We walk among the lemon groves under traditional pergolas and among ancient olive trees. We show you how the Sorrento lemon is hand-picked, how the extra virgin olive oil is born, and what makes homemade limoncello different from store-bought. Along the way you will greet our animals, enter a small 15th-century church with a Byzantine fresco, and stop in front of an ancient stone olive mill: try to guess how old it is. Almost no one succeeds. From October to January, you will also see the nets stretched under the olive trees for the olive harvest. The visit concludes at the farmhouse, with a tasting of country bread with organic lemon, orange, and mandarin jams, classic and flavored extra virgin olive oils, limoncello, and house liqueurs. Everything takes place in a familiar and authentic environment. No rush, no crowds: just countryside, silence, and the taste of this land.
