Discover Scuba Diving in Zakynthos – Turtle Island Boat Dive

Discover the underwater world of Zakynthos with our Discover Scuba Diving experience, designed especially for beginners with no prior scuba diving experience required. This program follows the official PADI Discover Scuba Diving standards and is the perfect first step into scuba diving.

Before arriving at the dive center, you will complete a short online introduction covering the basic principles of scuba diving, equipment use, and essential safety rules. This allows you to arrive well prepared and relaxed, ready to fully enjoy your experience in the water.

On the day of your dive, you will join us for a boat trip to Turtle Island, one of the most famous dive areas in Zakynthos. Turtle Island is known as a nesting area for Caretta caretta sea turtles, which means there is always a chance to see a turtle in its natural environment, both at the surface and underwater.

After a briefing and equipment setup, your certified PADI instructor will guide you step by step into the clear waters of the Ionian Sea. You’ll practice a few simple skills before starting your guided open-water dive, always with your instructor by your side to ensure safety and comfort.

During the dive, you’ll explore the underwater scenery around Turtle Island, swim over rocky formations, and observe local marine life while experiencing the unforgettable sensation of breathing underwater for the first time.
