We arrive at Meteora around 11:00 AM, where you’ll be immersed in the awe-inspiring landscape of towering sandstone cliffs topped with historic monasteries. These giant rock formations, formed over 60 million years ago, rise dramatically from the Thessalian plain and are home to one of Greece’s most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites. During our visit, you'll explore the inside of two of the six active monasteries, selected from St. Stefanos, Roussanou, Varlaam, or the Great Meteoron, depending on the schedule of each monastery. Each one offers a deep spiritual atmosphere, Byzantine architecture, and spectacular views across the valley.

We’ll also make one photo stop at a panoramic viewpoint, giving you the chance to admire the sweeping natural scenery and capture memorable photos of this sacred site.
