We depart early in the morning from Tirana, with pick-up from your hotel or a nearby meeting point, depending on where you are staying. Our guide will contact you on WhatsApp one day before to confirm the exact pick-up time and location, so everything is smooth and easy for you.
After leaving Tirana, we drive through the beautiful landscapes of Northern Albania, passing mountains, valleys, and small towns along the way. The drive itself is part of the experience, and we can always make a short stop for a coffee break or restroom break whenever needed. When we reach the border, passports are required for crossing into Kosovo.
Once in Kosovo, our first main destination is Prizren, often considered the most charming city in the country. Here we enjoy a guided walking tour through the historic center, where Ottoman-era architecture and traditional local life blend perfectly. During the walk we visit the Old Bazaar, the famous Stone Bridge, the area around the Sinan Pasha Mosque, and important cultural landmarks such as the House of the League of Prizren and the Ottoman Hammam. After the guided part, you will have free time to take photos, browse souvenir shops, or simply enjoy a coffee by the river.
Next, we continue to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, with a drive of around one hour. In Pristina we take a short city walk to see the main highlights, including the Newborn Monument, Mother Teresa Cathedral, and the unique National Library, known for its unusual architecture. You will also have time for a quick break before we start heading back.
Throughout the day, you will have around 1.5 hours of free time, perfect for enjoying a relaxed lunch and doing some souvenir shopping. Depending on the day’s timing, traffic, or weather conditions, we may visit Pristina first and Prizren second, or the other way around, but the itinerary and visits remain the same. We return to Tirana in the evening, ending a full day of culture, history, and local atmosphere in Kosovo.
