Travelers will take part in a unique Dining in the Dark experience at Dark Table Restaurant. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by your hostess and guided by Blind servers into a completely dark dining room where all sense of sight is removed. Once seated, guests enjoy a surprise or chosen three -course meal inspired by Italian and Canadian cuisine. In case they choose a surprise meal, the menu remains unknown until the dishes are served, encouraging diners to rely on their other senses,taste, smell, touch, and sound to fully experience the food in a new and memorable way. Blind servers assist guests safely, offering guidance and warm hospitality. Guests may enjoy surprise cocktails, wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages, enhancing the sensory journey. This experience is not just about food; it is about connection, awareness, and discovering flavors and emotions beyond sight. The dinner typically lasts around 90 minutes, leaving guests with a deeper appreciation of sensory dining and the world of the visually impaired.
