Day 1 Arrival in Lago Agrio
We will meet in Lago Agrio between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, where we will take our private Piranha transportation to the entrance of the Cuyabeno Reserve. Approximately 2 hours of travel.
At this point, visitors must check in at the Reserve office, where we will have a brief talk with our naturalist tour guide. They will give you information about the Cuyabeno Reserve, important recommendations, and other tips to begin the two-hour canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to Piranha Ecolodge.
During the canoe trip, you can enjoy the wonderful flora and fauna found in the rainforest. You can also see some of the 10 species of monkeys, birds, and other jungle animals, depending on the weather and conditions.
We will arrive at Piranha Ecolodge at around 1:30 PM.
We will have lunch.
At that time, you will be assigned your rooms and will be able to relax for a few minutes.
At 4:30 pm, we'll set off by motorized canoe to explore the waterlogged jungle, where we'll have the opportunity to see a variety of flora and fauna, including sloths and pink dolphins, among others.
We will take a tour around Laguna Grande. Then we'll go to the middle of the lagoon to watch the wonderful sunset and swim.

Then we'll return to camp for dinner.
We'll have a welcome cocktail.

We'll set out in search of alligators, snakes and nocturnal birds from the motorized canoe.

You'll finish your first day in the jungle.

Day 2- Eco Paddle Canoe
Breakfast 7:00 am
8:00 AM We'll take our rowing canoes and head to our Caimancocha trail. We'll go on a hike in the primary forest for approximately 3 hours.
On this trail, our tour guide will explain the ecology of the Amazon rainforest, medicinal plants, the variety of animals, and the interactions of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.
1:30 PM: We will return to our lodge.
Lunch
We'll take a break on the hammocks or in the rooms.
4:30 pm We'll take a tour on our catamaran, where we can relax and observe a variety of animals, including pink river dolphins and monkeys.
We'll swim and watch the fantastic sunset.
7:30 pm Dinner
Then, we'll take a night walk for about an hour to spot arachnids, amphibians, and hopefully nocturnal reptiles.

Day 3 Birdwatching
5:30 am We'll go on a tour to watch the sunrise and a variety of birds.
08:00 We'll have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the drop-off at 09:30 to the Cuyabeno Bridge. Then you'll be picked up by our private coach, which will take you to Lago Agrio to Magic Paradise so you can return to Quito either by bus or by plane. Arrival time: 14:00.
