The experience begins with a walk along a footbridge over the lava flow created during the eruption of the San Juan volcano in 1949. During the tour, you will discover how nature finds a way even in this volcanic environment. Plant roots penetrate several meters of lava in search of water, creating striking formations inside the tube. You will also get to see the small animal species that have adapted to this dark and stable ecosystem.
