Your experience begins with the first rays of the sun, meeting our team on the outskirts of Córdoba, a strategic point from which the landscape already foreshadows the magic of what is to come.
As the horizon turns orange over the Córdoba countryside, we invite you to take part in the inflation ritual. Helping to unfold the balloon and feeling the hot air fill it is the first exciting moment of the day, a choreography that ends when the huge aircraft rises before you. With the basket ready and in small groups to ensure the intimacy of the experience, you'll board and begin a gentle ascent that will give you a never-before-seen perspective of the Caliphate city.
From the sky, Córdoba becomes an open book of history. You'll see the imposing silhouette of the Mosque-Cathedral; the Roman Bridge, intact through the centuries, crossing the Guadalquivir; and the labyrinth of whitewashed streets in the Jewish Quarter that wind their way to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. You'll float in silence, gently rocked by the wind, while our expert pilot reveals anecdotes and secrets of this land of three cultures. You'll be able to perfectly make out the flower-filled courtyards, the towers of the Fernandine churches, and, in the background, the so-called “Sierra Morena Cordobesa” guarding the city.
After approximately one hour of flight time, we will begin a smooth and controlled descent around the city, where our ground crew will be waiting to pick us up. To top it all off and bring this experience to a perfect close, we'll take you back to the meeting point to celebrate with a typical Cordovan breakfast. We'll toast with cava (or juice for the little ones), and you'll receive a signed certificate that documents your journey through the skies of Córdoba.
