Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

  • Join a guided hiking tour with stunning views of the Christ the Redeemer statue—one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Begin in Parque Lage, covered with the dense Atlantic Forest, and trek through Tijuca Forest National Park for up-close views of one of the most popular sights in Rio.

A comfortable, air-conditioned van whisks you away from your hotel to the lush green Parque Lage. Embark on a fairly advanced hike and ascend 2,330 feet (710 m) to the top of Corcovado mountain, where you gain breathtaking views of one of Brazil's most famous landmarks. Along the way, marvel at Tijuca Forest National Park's century-old palm trees, cascading waterfalls, and large variety of exotic birds.

After a brisk 2.5-hour hike, savor rewarding views of the 125-foot (38-m) tall Christ the Redeemer statue and listen as your guide tells of the statue's unique history, architecture, and 9-year building process. After snapping unparalleled pictures of the monument, relax on your air-conditioned van ride back to the base of the mountain.
