Start your tour with a panoramic drive along the harbor. Stop at all of the legendary symbols of the world’s oldest monarchy for a proper introduction to the old Viking nation's capital.
Admire the Residence of the Danish Royal Family at the impressive Amalienborg Castle, boasting wonderful views of the Opera House and the Marble Church nearby.
Then, see a must-see symbol of the city: the Little Mermaid statue. Look as she elegantly watches over her waterfront home. The charming fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen become alive when paying a visit to this statue created by the famous fable itself.

Towards the old town center, enjoy a walk on the celebrated pedestrian street, Stroget. The world’s longest strolling lane begins with the lively Town Hall Square and Tivoli Gardens next door and leads on to the splendid Kings New Square.
Half way down the street, enjoy a walk through the magnificent courtyard of the Christiansborg Castle. This is considered home for both by Danish Parliament, Prime Ministers Offices, as well as the Royal Reception Rooms.

Afterwards, take some time to admire the charming district of Nyhavn. The graceful swans and stunning old boats lining the canal are a perfect balance to the colorful townhouses up on the street level.
Here, stop for a short coffee break or stroll along the harbor filled with inviting cafés and restaurants. End with a short drive back to your hotel or your cruise ship. If wish, you can also stay in the city center.
