Start your local adventure meeting your guide at a very nice and centric park to start a historic stroll towards the oldest traditional market in the city! There, your english speaking local guide will lead you through its mazes, stoping in the stalls, where happily the vendors will share and sell the fresh ingredients you will buy. With the help of your english-speaking guide explaining you all about Mayan, Yucatan and Mexican gastronomy, and the stories hidden behind them, you'll walk the market just like the locals do and discover the flavors and spices that we use in the region. Right in the middle, you'll have a little surprise that we have prepared for you ;)

After your time navigating the market, you'll take a local public transport (mainly digital platforms) and ride into a lovely afternoon, cooking and sharing just as the Mexican families do: visiting the home of your “Mexican Mom”. Within her lovely and warm place, Mamá will lead our hands oncooking where you'll get to transform our ingredients into five flavorful delicacies of the region, learning their processes while you build real human connections doing what humans has been done since our very beggining: sharing our food.

Once you, mamá and your guide filled up belly and hearts spending an afternoon in the intimacy of a local and calm neighborhood, your guide will stay to help on the clean up! (Traditionally guests never clean in mexico). You can call a ride using one of the three different digital ride apps available in the city, we can arrange it for you, or call a taxi for you.
