A fun, informative, and cultural way to experience Peruvian culture through food! You begin at the market, and get a fantastic tour and history of the different vendors and their familial history while buying fresh ingredients for the evening’s meal and trying samples of native Peruvian foods. Then it’s a short walk to the lab kitchen where Chef Jesus and his amazing staff have things planned out perfectly down to the minute for an incredible multi course meal. As guests, you’ll engage in mixing cocktails, cooking, assembling, plating, and of course tasting! It’s an amazing way to learn about Peru’s incredible variety of microclimates and wide array of unique edibles it produces. Jesus and his team (including sous Chef Sebastian, who was our guide through the market and was outstanding) clearly have the logistics of the operation down perfectly, and it was a great night! We would highly recommend this for ANYONE! In our cohort alone we had a massive friend group, a few couples, and a handful of solo travelers! This is also a whole evening experience! Consider dinner very much “included” in the cost!

Do it!! We had such a fantastic time! This ranks amongst the very top of our activities in Peru. First was a trip to the market where we learned about local foods and culture. We went back to the market the following day on our own and felt comfortable navigating it. Then a short walk through the streets of Cusco to a fabulous site for our cooking lesson. The group bonded. The instructor was fabulous. The assistants were wonderful and responsive. We made delicious food and two cocktails. All of it fresh and flavorful. Highly highly recommend!
