What you can expect

Escape the city and travel from Florence to the spectacular Cinque Terre National Park for a day filled with unforgettable scenery and timeless Italian charm. Along this dramatic stretch of coastline, five colorful villages rise from rugged cliffs overlooking the Ligurian Sea, creating one of the most iconic landscapes in Italy. Celebrated for its natural beauty and cultural significance, the Cinque Terre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true must-see destination.

Your journey begins in Riomaggiore, the oldest of the five villages, dating back to the 13th century. Known for its historic charm and local wines, Riomaggiore is the perfect introduction to the Cinque Terre. Wander through narrow cobblestone streets and admire the vibrant houses stacked closely together, creating a truly postcard-worthy scene.

Traveling by train, you’ll reach Manarola, where a picturesque harbor, a small boat ramp, and some of the most iconic panoramic views of the Cinque Terre await you.

Next, discover Monterosso, an ancient fishing village famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and lush natural vegetation. Often called “The Pearl of the Cinque Terre,” it’s the ideal place to relax by the sea or enjoy a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters. From Monterosso, a scenic boat ride brings you to the charming village of Vernazza, uniquely built around a natural harbor.

This full-day adventure combines history, stunning landscapes, and seaside relaxation. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring swimwear to make the most of your day exploring this coastal paradise.
