Get an early start on an amazing day's journey from Florence to the Italian seaside. Admire nature's artistry in Liguria, a spectacular region and home to Cinque Terre - the much-acclaimed string of seaside villages along the Italian Riviera.

Sit back and relax as we take a 2-hour ride via a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Your guide will entertain you with tales of the area as you cross two regions: Tuscany and Liguria. Both are rich in history, culture, and traditions that deserve to be told. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to a quaint and comfortable local train.

The first stop brings you to the town of Monterosso, the largest town among the Cinque Terre. Dine on a local dish as you please, selecting that which tempts your taste buds most. Stroll, shop, sit, or even swim (don’t forget to pack your swimsuit just in case you’d like to take a dip in the sea, you have plenty of time for it!), the choice is entirely yours.If you want to make the most out of this Cinque Terre experience, we also offer an optional gentle walk, for those who want to see the stunning mainland and coastline scenery from a different perspective.

Then it is “all aboard!” as you are taken by train to the charming town of Manarola, characterized by its narrow streets and small square overlooking the sea. It is so picturesque that it will seem like you've stepped into a Renaissance painting. Take your time to amble around the area on your own and discover everything fate has in store for you.

Your day will continue beyond the splendors of Cinque Terre as you embark on a captivating journey to the renowned city of Pisa, home to the world-renowned Leaning Tower and many other architectural wonders. Explore Pisa's historical treasures and enjoy a final taste of Ligurian flavors, including the renowned pesto.

As your day trip concludes, use this relaxing journey back to Florence to reflect on the extraordinary experiences.

Please note: due to operational reasons, the stop in Manarola may be replaced with a visit to Vernazza, equally enchanting and often considered the most picturesque village of the Cinque Terre.
