Discover the depth of Japanese ume culture through a hands-on workshop presented by CHOYA, the world’s No.1 umeshu producer. During the experience, you’ll sample a variety of ume syrups and select from over 100 possible combinations to handcraft your own umeshu (Japanese plum liqueur) or non-alcoholic ume syrup. Your finished bottle becomes a unique, take-home souvenir of Kyoto. The workshop is conducted in English for international visitors, with Chinese and Japanese guidebooks also available to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Guests aged 19 and under are welcome to join by making ume syrup.
