Explore the Dazu Rock Carvings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a full-day tour from Chongqing. Admire the carvings that demonstrate how Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism developed in 900-1200 AD.

Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Chongqing and drive to Baodingshan (Treasure Top Mt). Take a guided tour of the U-shaped valley to appreciate the combination of arts, folkloric customs, and religion around the 11th century.

See how Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism interacted and influenced the Chinese way of thinking, living, and code of ethics. This is the only site in China where people could see three religions co-exist in harmony.

After your tour, enjoy a Chinese-style lunch (optional) before continuing to Beishan (Northern Mt). Take a guided tour along a corridor which accommodates reliefs and statues about religious figures and scriptures dated to the 9th and 10th centuries.
