Then, your host will guide you through the six main types of Chinese tea — green, white, yellow, oolong, black (red), and dark (pu’er) — explaining how each is made and what makes its flavor unique. You’ll watch a live demonstration of classic brewing techniques using a gaiwan or small teapot, and learn how water temperature, timing, and multiple infusions affect taste and aroma.
